Warning: This is going to be the most random post.
I just feel like I haven't blogged in a couple weeks, yet I have so much to share! It has just been a couple of hectic, fun and wonderful weeks!
So... what has happened since my last post?
First, I took a trip to Tampa!
My sister (and her husband) and my brother (and his wife) had babies born 32 days apart, and they were both baptized the weekend of July 24th - 25th in Tampa! They are both such cute little gals, and it was so nice to spend time with my siblings and their growing families.
While the visit was lots of fun, we just had to get back to Atlanta!
Michelle Gainey, the amazing and talented Wedding & Event Planner from Lemiga Events, told me about this great event called Pictage U - Atlanta.
At Pictage U, five professional photographers who specialize in family and children photography held an educational conference to teach other photographers their 'tricks of the trade'.
They were looking for models, and of course, I signed up my four little ones!
I am planning on doing a full post about Pictage U, but until all the pictures are available, here are a couple sneak peeks:
I adore this picture. These little guys just make me so proud.
My daughter must have been twirling or fluttering around when this picture was taken.
I promise she will be in the 'Pictage U' post.
The day after our 'photoshoot', my youngest child (the one in the middle in the above picture) turned two years old! It was a lovely day filled with cupcakes... and more cupcakes.. and more cupcakes.
As soon as the last candle was blown out, I had to get back into
~ Wedding Mode ~
On July 31st, I was fortunate to be part of Karen and Steve's wedding at the Fernbank Museum.
Their colors were Fuchsia and Navy Blue!
Their reception was held among the dinosaur skeletons!
Their photographer is Heidi from Our Labor of Love, so I know the pictures are going to be amazing!
In the meantime, I am anxiously waiting for pictures from a few other recent weddings. As soon as they hit my 'inbox', I will post them here.
However, I have a couple sneak peeks for you:
Photographer: Project Duo
Adorable Couple: Katti + Hanson
Katti was a real 'do it yourself' bride, and her attention to detail was INCREDIBLE!
Prepare to be inspired!
Photographer: Jessica Giblin Photography from Roseville, California
Adorable Couple: Meg + Will
The first time I met with Meg, I fell in love with her. She was so fun, wholesome and down to earth, but at the same time, she was incredibly elegant!
That is best way to sum up their wedding....
Elegant.. but fun and down to earth.
(Meg and Will are also the bride and groom in the first picture of this post.)
I can't wait to share the rest of the pictures from their wedding, but in the meantime, I do have to post one more! We created these moss letters to hang on the bar doors at the Trolley Barn:
M for Meg & W for Will
To end this random post, I am going to share a random picture I took with my cell phone while driving early on Friday, July 30th.
Just a reminder to enjoy the sweet, simple moments.
And... don't take pictures while you are driving!
(I have already gotten a lecture from my sweet husband)
Happy Wedding Planning!
