Translation: Ikat

Hi again, friends!

I'm back to share another inspiration board, along with 

some fun and exciting floral designs that coordinate with 

this super trendy look.

For this board, I was inspired by the explosion of ikat we've

seen on the runway,

...pretty much everywhere lately!

So, without further adieu, 

here is my inspiration board for an ikat-inspired wedding:

Isn't it fun???
I'm usually so girly and feminine and traditional but this look
is just too eye catching and exciting to ignore!

Ok, here are my floral design picks to go along with it:

Those colors and textures! This gorgeous bouquet features hot pink English roses, mango calla lilies, green cymbidium orchids, pink nerine lilies, yellow billy balls and green trix dianthus.  It just makes me smile.


And then there's this beauty:

That blend of traditional (hydrangea) and funky (kangaroo paw) gets me every time!

And anyone in the wedding/celeb know has heard about
the recent nuptuals of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo.
Her bouquet would work quite nicely with this look, as well:
