Let me get right to it...
This is one of my favorite bouquets from this year.
I have been going crazy waiting to see pictures from this wedding!
Because...
1. I love the photographer! Project Duo... two great gals that do amazing work. Also, you have to love their logo:
2. The bride, Katti, had so many incredible DIY ideas that I couldn't wait to share with all of you, like:
She made these... or had some kind family member make them for her! When I arrived at the wedding, her family was securing these into place. What an adorable accent to any wedding! What a great place for photos! Fabulous!
Katti and Hanson were married at The Gardens at Great Oaks, and they wanted to do as many 'green' things as possible. This meant using flowers from local growers and farmers' markets, so we were able to work with different flowers, like deep blue clematis in the bridesmaids bouquets:
These bouquets featured white hydrangeas, pink roses, pink gerber daisies, blue clematis, Queen Anne's lace, white clematis, and blooms of wired buttons all wrapped with burlap and accented with ribbon and more buttons!
I am in love with buttons, so I was so excited when Katti was open to the idea of incorporating them into the flowers.
Of course, reusing old buttons is recycling.
And recycling is green!
For Katti's bouquet, we featured white hydrangeas, pink peonies, Queen's Anne's lace, white clematis, clematis buds and lots of buttons wrapped with burlap and accented with buttons. Project Duo took so many incredible pictures of the bouquet, so I am going to share them all!
For the groom, we included buttons in his boutonniere of clematis blooms and a lily of the valley sprig:
Don't you love the bow tie?

What a gorgeous couple!
What a gorgeous picture!
And... I love his shoes!
Awww!
And I love her shoes!
How adorable!
Thank you to Katti and Hanson for letting us be part of your wonderful and environmentally friendly event!
Congratulations and best wishes for a fabulous
'happily ever after'!
